Hawarden Family Medical Center is Dr. Monte Harvey, Teri Osterkamp, ARNP and the nurses and staff who work together to provide healthcare to the rural areas of northwest Iowa and southeast South Dakota.
Geographically, we are in Hawarden, in western Sioux County. It is in the northwest corner of Iowa, between Sioux City, IA and Sioux Falls, SD.
Philosophically, we are dedicated to providing quality, common sense healthcare with an emphasis on the patient. We are the ONLY independent provider of family medical care in Sioux County. This means we are not owned, controlled or directed by any hospital, insurance company or special interest.

[October 15, 2008] Flu vaccines are available and ready. The CDC (Center for Disease Control) recommends flu shots be given from October through November. If you are still confused about a flu shot, check here or here.
Reminder: We are open through the lunch hour every day. We will have appointments over the noon hour for your convenience.
