Teri Osterkamp
Teri (Salker) Osterkamp was born and raised right here in Hawarden. She attended West Sioux Schools and to Sioux City for nurse's training. She was trained as a Nurse Practitioner at SDSU in Bookings, SD. Teri joined HFMC after completing training and certification in 1999. She and her husband, Steve live and support Hawarden and the surrounding community. She provides general medical care as an ARNP [Advanced Registered Nurse Practitioner.]

An advanced registered nurse practitioner (ARNP) is a registered nurse who has advanced education and clinical training in a health care specialty area such as pediatrics, family practice, women's health, or geriatrics. All ARNPs have passed a certification exam in their specialty area and are licensed to independently perform physical exams, diagnose and treat illnesses, order and interpret tests, and provide health and wellness education.
